Remembrance Display

While our primary objective is to provide a Remembrance Service & Parade every year in Sutton in Ashfield we have been working closely with local establishments to help create "The festival of Remembrance"
Last year you will have seen the huge display at Ashfield Fire station which was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire. This year the attention has been turned to Kings Mill Hospital. This will be attended by the High Sheriff of Nottingham.
The display at kings mill will highlight Kings Mill's part in WW2. This will be open to the public from the 2nd of November.
Please don't forget to visit our yearly display in Sutton you'll find it at St Mary's memorial gardens between the cemetery & the Grosvener rooms

Having seen various dispays around for The Fallen we decided to embark on our own display, here you will see some of the people & process of building it.

It also has an interactive eliment so I would like you all to visit with your phones & scan the QR codes you will see for more information on some of the heros of WW1.
